Hi folks, so sorry it took me so long to post "20072007" party. It was a bit tricky here especially having to put in photos & videoClips as well ...my first time putting them in-between lines and space ...so finally got the lines on the right place, & the photo on the right space ...yeah! ...I hope :b
ps: believe me, I got the page ready two days later but with ministry and life's excitment going on each day... I finally have to say, "just hit the button and let it go..." - so here is it..

Friday 20th July 2007 By 5.30pm I was kind of panic liao ...I have not found any durians yet! ...I promised my durian lovers there will be durians for them. Thank God, I found some good ones at about 6.30pm! ...and I still have Chilli Crab and Beef Rendang to cook, hehe. I just got home from a hospital visit with a friend ;>
At 7.15pm "ding-dong.. ding-dong" ...Janice & Roger Capps; Jane & Lindsay Robertson, and their kids, David and Rachel (photo below) walked in. They met below my flat looking for the house, what a surprised! RJCapps did not know the Robertsons were in town. Jane rang me the nite b4 and said they are in town . They just came in from KL, and have just Celebrated Jane's father's 80th Birthday! We wanted to surprise the Cappses, so Jane didn't want to ring Janice to let her know they are in town.
"ding-dong... ding-dong" - more people came...
It was a wonderful evening of "catching-up" with "lao peng yu" (old friends) There were 23 of us in the house; including Stealthy; our 5 mth old kitty :D (Mabel was expecting about 30 pax) Janice said, she has not eaten mee-siam for years ...hahaha! All of us just enjoyed each other's fellowship and the food -we only had a simple meal la... Err..amh... they all like my chilli crab and beef rendang (I know David Teo will love this dish ...miss you and family ...David!!)
We took a 15min break ...for the food to digest before we hit the desserts, we watched Snowjade's "Great Wall" video clip.
Joshua, my fun son, went into the kitchen and came out with a beautiful cake with fruits on it ...with lighted candles ...the group started singing "Happy Birthday Mabel" ...still holding the cake in his hand, Josh said, "blow your candles Mom" :b "ok, I will try ...in one breath, at 52!!" (some how the Capps came to my place with this cake ...how did they know?) The Leongs went into the kitchen and light up another cake ...with a singing candle that sings to the tune of "happy birthday" ;> Josh had the cake in his hand and walked up to Auntie Janice (still sitting on the floor) we started to sing "Happy Birthday to Janice!" Janice, we nearly put all the 68 candles on the cake for you! LOL!!! You are right Johnson!! Me and Janice are "ho-peng-yu" - good friends, like sisters :D We even get to celebrate our birthdays together this year and on a double matched date ... 20072007!! Waah.. This is really really memorable! ..doing a dual Birthday Celebration, first time in my 52yrs!! Praise the Lord!!

I must think of what to do on 20082008 ...maybe, one of my kids get married on that day ...hahaha!! Will surely invite you guys if this is so :b
After the cake, we were deciding which to eat next ...the "cheng-tng" or durians. Wei Shih said we should take the "heaty" ones first, which is the durians, then the "cheng-tng" to cool our system down. "cheng-tng" is supposedly on the "cooling" side... says the Chinese, hehehe. Well, we ate "anything", "whatever" that evening - hahaha!!!
It was a relaxing evening ...just exchanging conversation and picture taking. The party ended about 11pm...
Waah... after half a century old, there are so much more to life!! Thanks to God; and all your prayers for me and my family; and my health :D
All is well with me thus far ...everyday is a bonus!!
Truly, God is so faithful to me and Janice ...we have a "double blessing" - a dual Birthday Celebration on 20072007!!!! Once a life time for us, PtL!! "our birthday cake, yummy"
ps: after the 1st video... a funny ad may pop-up, just ignore it - "just testing you". Ads R tempting ah... wait for about 2 secs, then the 2nd and 3rd video will just play. Enjoy!
